As of June 16, 2020, the US Treasury Department has published the latest version of their Paycheck Protection Program (the "PPP") Loan Forgiveness Calculation Form. You can find the form here or at the bottom of this blog.
For each small business, independent contractor, or person who received a PPP Loan, you will need to fill one of these forms out (so long as you actually want forgiveness for your PPP Loan).
Regardless of whether you think your PPP Loan amount will actually be forgiven, our law firm recommends filling one of these forms out in a timely manner to ensure that your rights to forgiveness are obtained as soon as possible.
It's best to do this sooner rather than later, as the government is going to have a high volume of these to go through, which will take weeks and possibly months to complete.
